How to Play “vEmpire: The Beginning”, our first P2E Game

Below is a short guide to get you up and running with the Play-to-Earn version of our online trading card game, “vEmpire: The Beginning”.

In order to play, you will need a Metamask wallet, VEMP, and some ETH/BNB in your wallet, depending on which network you decide to play on.

First things first, you can find the game at https://play.v-empire.io/. On the main menu you will see a button to connect your wallet to the game. Once you’ve connected your wallet, you will get redirected to the next Menu, where you can begin playing.

The in-game currency for “The Beginning” is xsVEMP. The only way you can get this is by swapping your VEMP at a 1:1 ratio. There is a button in the top left where you can make this transaction. You may need to refresh after performing the transaction to get the xsVEMP Balance showing.

To get playing ,you can join a room someone has already created, or you can create one yourself. If you are happy to join someone else’s room (you don’t get to choose your faction) click “Join Room”, where you will see a list of players looking for opponents, the amount of xsVEMP they have allocated to the room and the faction that they have chosen.

If you wish to create your own room, click “Create Room” and then choose the amount of xsVEMP that you wish to allocate to the battle and the faction you would like to play as.

Once in the lobby, you have a 5 minute timer to wait for an opponent to join. Once they have joined, you must both select the risk level, which is the percentage of the rooms allocated xsVEMP you wish to play with. The winner will take 90% of the winnings, and remaining 10% will go to the DDAO (vEmpire’s Democratic Decentralized Autonomous Organization).

Once both players agree on the risk level, and sign the transaction in Metamask, then you will be taken to the card selection page and then to battle.

Once the battle is over, you can claim any winnings from the Battle History page. Please note, if you are playing on the Ethereum network it can take up to 4 hours to be able to claim your xsVEMP. However if you are playing on the Binance Smart Chain, it should take around 15 minutes.
